Wine firm moves into soft drinks sector with kombucha

Lanchester Wines, a UK-based family wine merchant and importer with strong focus on sustainability, is moving into the soft drinks sector with the launch of its Dragon Tree Kombucha.

Dragon Tree Kombucha is served in a 250ml can and is a gently sparkling fruity tea, with natural flavours of hibiscus and rosehip – developed for today’s healthy conscious consumer, seeking an alternative soft drink.

Gluten free and suitable for vegans, each 250ml can contains 50% of daily vitamins and is only 93 calories, which is less than an average apple.

“Unlike other kombuchas on the market, this is actually really tasty, like strawberries and cream,” says Lanchester. “It also has a number of health benefits and is independently certified by UK Trading Standards.”

Lanchester Wines is a family-owned supplier of premium wines to on- and off-licensed trade retailers, from bars to high street operators, supermarkets and off-licences based in County Durham, with a strong focus on sustainability. It’s business is powered by its own on-site wind turbine and solar panels.
