What a day! European Coffee, Tea & Soft Drinks Expo opens to huge acclaim.

Exhibitors and visitors sang the praises of the European Coffee, Tea & Soft Drinks Expo. 


What the exhibitors said:



Brian Watt at Sloane’s Hot Chocolate:

“We have seen a lot of coffee shops today from all over the country. They were interested in our hot chocolate menus as they have seen the success of these with coffee. They are thinking about how to give customers something in the afternoons. We also had a guy from China visit the stand looking for premium gifting products to take to the Chinese market."


Megan Gittings of Tea and The Gang:

“The visitors we are seeing are really relevant to our brand. We hadn’t realised what a busy show it would be – we’re very pleased to be here.”

“We’re very pleased to be getting lot of interest and questions about our ethical stance on sustainability, with lots of questions about packaging and our ‘plastic window’, which is actually Natureflex, a by-product of wood-pulp.

“We have a lot more space for our stand this year, which means we’ve been able to display many more products across the range, allowing greater sampling and educational opportunities.”

“We have seen a lot of people from the coffee industry and people from all over the world. We have been asked if we can supply to Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and India.”

“It’s a show with great diversity. The talks are really good too, taking on three different areas for discussion. The standard of the speakers and the content is really good and very enjoyable.”

“It’s an amazing show. It’s so very well organised and easy to navigate with great facilities too. The Masterclasses have been really good, very engaging.”

“I’m loving the tea element of the show this year, it really adds to both the size and the offer. Great to see cannabis tea here too. We’re stocking it in all our shops and it’s selling really well."
