UCC Coffee celebrates milestones
UCC Coffee UK & Ireland announced today that it has reached two milestones, its sales turnover has exceeded £100m and it now employs over 500 people, and celebrates by unveiling a new brand identity, website and a £1.3m-refurbishment of its Milton Keynes headquarters.
The new look HQ includes a new training and demonstration facility, dedicated to its industry-leading COFFEEWORKS training programme. The training area, it said, will allow UCC Coffee’s team of coffee specialists the “perfect stage to support customers on how to product consistent, exceptional coffee, regardless of scale”. The on-site workshop has also benefited from a complete upgrade.
Elaine Swift, managing director of UCC Coffee UK & Ireland, said: “We’ve gone from strength-to-strength to become the UK’s leading Total Coffee Solution over the past two decades. In that time we’ve worked with the biggest names across international retailers and foodservice, as well as smaller, local names all looking to deliver the highest-quality coffee possible. Everything we’ve done and do is built on innovation, hard work and dedication to exceptional coffee – and it’s all down to the work of our brilliant team here in Milton Keynes and around the UK.
“The past has been great to us, but now we’ve hit these major milestones it’s time to look forward. With our growing team, global network, new look brand and website, and the vast investment we’ve put into our Milton Keynes headquarters and Dartford roastery, the future for us and our customers is more exciting than ever, and we can’t wait to get our Total Coffee Solution in front of more businesses.”
- UCC Coffee will be exhibiting at European Coffee Expo at London’s Olympia on May 22-23 on stand C11.
