Taylors of Harrogate enters out of home market with coffee bags

Taylors of Harrogate is launching its coffee bags into the out of home sector later this year. 

The move is supported by recent consumer research, commissioned by the brand through YouGov, which found that only a quarter of people (25%) who have stayed in a hotel in the UK would describe the in-room complimentary coffee offering as being of good quality.

The research also revealed that 38% of adults who drink in-room complimentary coffee in UK hotels believe that in-room drinks are reflective of the hotel’s overall catering offer.

The company plans to make its Rich Italian coffee bags available in packs of 80 to the out of home sector. The Italian-inspired blend of African and Latin American ground coffee brews in two minutes.

The brand has also launched a £2M multi-channel advertising campaign to drive awareness and trial of the new product. 

 

Botanic Lab launches Dutch Courage CBD tea drink

Botanic Lab has unveiled its new Dutch Courage Cannabidiol (CBD) botanical tea drink. 

This drink joins the rest of its newly launched Social Lubricants botanical tea drink range. Dutch Courage combines sour cherry and floral hibiscus with botanical hemp CBD extract.

Botanic Lab founder Rebekah Hall said: “Consumers are increasingly bypassing alcohol in favour of soft drink options, but even in this day and age the non-alcohol choices are limited, boring and frankly a little flaccid.”

The range also includes Latin Lover (Yerba Maté) and Yin Yang Yuzu (Green Tea). All are free from refined sugars, artificial colours, flavours and sweeteners.

 

No alcohol brewery rebrands range

Nirvana Brewery, which boasts it is the UK’s only craft brewery dedicated to producing solely low/no alcohol beers, has rebranded its product range to suit international growth.

The brewery, which was launched in 2017, has revamped the names, product descriptions and graphics on its bottles to appeal to buyers and to operators who want to display the product.  

Nirvana has a range of seven beers in its range including its 0.0% ABV stout and pale ale as well as its Bavarian Helles lager at 0.3% ABV.
