No boundaries for Caravan, as it unveils Vardo

The Caravan Bar & Restaurants’ team – Laura Harper-Hinton, Miles Kirby and Chris Ammermann – unveil their latest venture, Vardo, next week in London’s Duke of York Square, off the King’s Road.

Vardo (which means gypsy caravan) will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is “inspired by the notion of ‘no boundaries’, influenced by the journey of the travelling wagon spanning the globe and collecting produce, spices and inspiration along the way”.

The architecturally award-winning designed building will have 360-degrees wall-to-floor windows, which will sink completely into the ground beneath, “creating a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘bringing the outside in’ – the square’s newest way to dine al-fresco”.

Vardo represents the team’s first foray into South West London. Caravan operates five ‘mid-market’ sites in London.
