Laura Ashley to expand tea chain
Laura Ashley, the fashion and retail operator, is looking for opportunities to roll-out its tea room chain.
There are currently four sites open with its fifth set to open in Stratford Upon Avon.
Laura Ashley has three tea rooms managed by in partnership with the Corus Hotel Group. This partnership is set to see the opening of its fourth site in Stratford Upon Avon joining Burnham Beeches, Solihull and Coventry.
It also launched the tea room concept as a stand-alone site with Highbullen Hotel, Golf & Country Club in North Devon in October 2018.
Each site is designed designed in-house by the Laura Ashley Design Service. Sites offer afternoon tea as well as a range of teas ranging from Breakfast Tea, Darjeeling, Jasmine Pearls to Peppermint and Camomile.
“We decided to launch the tea rooms, as a way for our customers to experience the brand in a different way. Laura Ashley Hospitality offers a contemporary experience that is in tune with our distinctive design and an atmosphere of relaxed luxury,” a spokesperson from the Laura Ashley business development team told Coffee Business World.
“It also helps to re-engage customers with Laura Ashley and drive them back into stores. All of the tea rooms are designed in house by the Laura Ashley Design Service and visiting them is a great way for customers to see our products in situ.”
